About Geneviève

Phenomenal…

Finalist on Canada’s Got Talent (Season 2) and recipient of Howie Mandel’s Golden Buzzer, Geneviève Côté is far more than a sound effects performer — she is a true phenomenon. She transports audiences into a fascinating sonic universe, where the voice becomes cinema, emotion, and imagination.

Her Golden Buzzer quickly became one of the most moving and viral moments in Canada’s Got Talent history, surpassing one million views in just a few days. That performance marked a major turning point and launched Geneviève onto international stages and screens.

Her rise continued at lightning speed: invited to La France a un incroyable talent (Season 18), she received a second Golden Buzzer, this time from Karine Le Marchand. Soon after, she was noticed in Hollywood and selected for America’s Got Talent – Fantasy League, where Howie Mandel personally chose her for his team — allowing her to represent Canada among the world’s top Got Talent performers.

Her international journey kept growing: Britain’s Got Talent, Georgia Got Talent, Česko Slovensko má Talent, Croatia Supertalent, Tu Si Que Vales (Italy), Got Talent España… earning a total of four Golden Buzzers along the way.

In Bucharest, the show iUmor România gave her the opportunity to perform seven minutes of stand-up in English for the first time, seamlessly integrated into her act. She received a Joker Card from Delia Matache (the equivalent of a Golden Buzzer), taking her all the way to the Top 4 finalists.

Thanks to her international TV appearances, Geneviève is now invited around the world to perform at prestigious events, including COP16 in Cali (Colombia) and the Tourise Summit in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia). To date, she has performed in over 30 countries.

Her universe has also expanded beyond the stage and television: Geneviève has been sought after by the video game industry to create vocal sound effects. She notably produced bird sounds for Assassin’s Creed Shadows (Ubisoft) and voices Pio the parrot in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (MachineGames).Described as a “phenomenon” by Howie Mandel, a “force of nature” by Bruno Tonioli, compared by Kardinal Offishall to a mix of Céline Dion and Quentin Tarantino, and praised by Gerry Scotti: “Ennio Morricone and Sergio Leone would be proud of her,” Geneviève Côté stands today as a truly unique international artist — unlike anyone else.
